An Afternoon of Audio Visual & Event Design

Attendees will spend the afternoon moving through four stations of audio visual and event design to gain more insight and learn new trends in this ever-changing industry.

  • Video
    • What size screen do you need for your event
    • Crowd and room size
    • Rear projection vs. front projection
    • LED walls
    • They can be made into any size and configuration, but how should you design that?
  • Audio
    • Proper microphone usage
    • Proper speaker placement
    • How big of an audio systems to you actually need
  • Lighting
    • How to use lighting to keep your event moving and energetic
    • Proper stage lighting
    • Using it to brand your event and sell sponsorships
  • Decor
    • Lounge/soft seating vs. traditional seating
    • Interesting and unexpected branding opportunities
    • Keeping concepts cohesive, from digital to physical
    • Maximizing your traditional step and repeat to become a social media backdrop
    • Decorative lighting layers

This program has been approved by the Events Industry Council for 1.5 CEU credit hours under Domain G: Meeting or Event Design.

Supplier Members have the option of sponsoring a table for $25. This is a great opportunity to capture the attention of your fellow tablemates (usually 5-6 people) and present collateral, giveaways or a brief overview of your organization. Feel free to ask attendees to join you at your table for lunch. Table Sponsors will be recognized at the event.

Walk-ins and meeting registrations not received by the cancellation deadline, October 14th, will be charged an additional $20 per registration.

**Meeting Attendance Policy: Per MPI Global all Essential Level Members or Non-Members will be limited to attending no more than two events in one fiscal year (July 1-June 30), and must pay the Essential Level/Non-Member Rate. MPI Preferred and Premier Level Members are welcome to attend all chapter events at the Member Rate. This new policy is required for all MPI Chapters.
